I don’t even know where to start.

When I watched the insurrection on the news, the first thing that popped into my head was “Holy shit, is Margaret Atwood some kind of prophet???!!!”

Can you imagine what could have happened if the White House was broken into by people who were carrying a shit ton of guns and bombs etc. that could have killed everyone in our government?

Can we all just put the bullshit aside, be adults, and have a serious discussion about this event in Amerikkkan history?

Every time I think about this, I think about how Camden, New Jersey had protests about George Floyd and police brutality. No one was killed. There were riots in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and no one was killed. There were protests in Trenton, New Jersey, and no one was killed.

Do you even know how many gangs exist and/or matriculate through New Jersey every year? How did New Jersey manage to have riots and protests with no casualties??!!

Can we all for a second forget how jaded and desensitized from sex and violence we’ve become? Can we not just talk about this, but listen to each other?

Evil can only be unstoppable if it is never confronted by a force of good that decides to be much bigger and more powerful than evil is. That means enemy must wave the white flag against enemy. That means rivals must stop and shake hands in the name of changing Amerikkka to America.

I have faith that the next time something like this happens, we will all agree to put our nonsense aside and fight for the greater good.
